It will be interesting to say the least when the big games start dropping such as fallout 4, borderlands 3 and red dead. We will know then if there is a major disparity between the two machines and yes, it will matter to a lot of people.

No one fanbase is better or worse than the others. Sony fans had to deal with "playstation is doomed" trolls for the past seven years and trust me, there is nothing more frustrating than that. There is no reason that titanfall shouldn't be 1080p. Killzone Shadow Fall manages it and titanfalls engine is nowhere near guerrillas engine tech-wise. I'm having a hard time believing this rumor as a result. If it is true though then hopefully a full hd ps4 version comes out soon.

Its easy to imagine this because if they actually removed the device and made a cheaper sku everyone would buy the one without the camera. Microsoft wants to make sure that every bone owner has a kinect because its still seen as the future ofinteractivity to them. I wouldn't put it past ms to reinstate these policys once the install base is at a desired level. These plans have been in place for years and I have the feeling that this "no more drm" stuff is strictly to compete with sony at launch. You can't have a more restrictive console costing more money than the competition, its suicide.
